The company says the appointment follows a run of customer projects combining 5-axis machining centres with robotic loading and in-process AI inspection, work that previously would have been coordinated across multiple external vendors.
“Customers aren't asking us for a machine anymore. They're asking us to solve a production problem, and increasingly that means machines plus automation plus some kind of AI layer on top,” said a Suretech spokesperson.
