The company says the system was developed with two Gujarat-based sheet metal fabricators over an eight-month trial, focused on mixed-batch production where operators frequently switch between material grades and thicknesses in a single shift.
How it works
The module compares the in-progress bend angle against the expected geometry using a trained vision model, flagging likely springback before the part is released from the tooling, rather than relying solely on the operator's experience or a post-process check.
SheetSense says the retrofit kit is compatible with most hydraulic press brakes currently in service in Indian fabrication shops and will be available through regional distributors from Q4 2026.
